Bill Toon is a 1983
graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of
Science in Family and Consumer Studies. Bill was a four
year letterman in Football and was named Honorable
Mention All American at Linebacker his senior year.
After a brief stint with the Buffalo Bills as a free
agent signing, he returned to the University of Utah as
a graduate assistant coach working with the linebackers
and special teams. In early 1983, Bill signed a contract
with the Boston Breakers of the newly formed USFL and
played two years of professional football.
In 1986, he began his career in
the leasing industry with Perry Morris Corporation,
starting out in the collection department and
eventually becoming the salesman of the year in
1991. Bill has worked for several companies since
including Capitalease and Financial Federal Credit
Inc. He was a regional vice president of Financial
Federal Credit Inc. in charge of building the
machine tool market in Southern California.
Bill is now a principal of Global
Partners and continues to work in the machine tool
industry as well as financing all other types of
equipment. |
