Jeff Morris is a 1972 graduate
of the University of Southern California, majoring
in Business Administration. Immediately after graduation,
he was involved in the startup of a number of companies
leading to the formation of the Perry Morris Corporation.
In 1980, Jeff began the Perry Morris Corporation
with $2,000 in capital. During his tenure as President
and CEO, he was responsible for enormous growth,
taking the company from an annual leasing invoice
position of $100,000 to over $100 million in 1990.
Perry Morris developed the largest market share of
any independent equipment lessor in the State of
California. His leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
enabled Perry Morris to achieve average annual pre-tax
income for the years 1986-1990 of over $1 million
per year.
The company was twice named in INC Magazine’s
list of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies
in the United States. Jeff was nominated as a finalist
in the Orange County Entrepreneur of the year awards
in recognition of his unique entrepreneurial talents
in the financial service industry. In fact, he was
the only executive from either banking or financial
services to be nominated.
Recognizing the increased demand for equipment lease
financing, Jeff started Capital Lease in September
of 1992. Currently the company has three offices and
forty employees. The company changed their
name to Global Vantage Ltd in 2000 as they entered
into the investment banking and advisory field.
The company markets their services under a partner
firm by the name of Vantera Partners.
The company specializes in vendor
programs and has one of the highest repeat customer
ratio in the business. The current portfolio of
leases is well in excess of a hundred million dollars.
Jeff has served on the board of directors of the
Southern California Chapter of the Young Presidents
Organization, he was on the Orange County Board of
