David Copp joined Global Vantage Ltd. as Senior Vice President in 2002. Dave has a distinguished leasing career that spans over 43 years in the industry. Dave was born and raised in Long Beach, California, and continues to reside there. He has three daughters, two of whom are married and five grandchildren.

Dave graduated from California State College in Long Beach, with a B.S. degree in Marketing. He has had extensive bank leasing experience most recently as Regional Vice President of Eldorado Bank (California Bank & Trust). He has held senior positions with Eldorado Bank, Pacific Century Bank, Crocker Capital, Perry Morris Corporation, Gibraltar Financial Corporation, First Interstate Bank Leasing, and Crocker Bank Leasing. Dave has recruited, trained and managed sales people, has originated “Big Ticket” single investor and leverage lease transactions, and excels at developing new funding sources and the placement of lease transactions. He has closed several transactions exceeding $10MM, and a $17MM leverage lease was his career high. He has been and continues to be a great addition to our team.
